War of the Worlds
I'm wondering if this new battle is doomed to yet another failure.
I mean, I just did this a week ago. If someone told me that I would have submitted myself again, I wouldn't have believed them. I feel so inadequate, a word which here means "not able to live up to Heavenly Father's expecations". I failed, and He's had to forgive me time and time again. Why on earth would he forgive me yet again?
I knew I hadn't thoroughly destroyed the other side. But I just don't know what to do anymore. The light always struggling against the dark. The darkness getting stronger and stronger, distancing me farther and farther away from the light. And me wondering if it's even worth it to begin walking uphill again when I just might fall down yet again.
Two sides continuously in the heat of battle. Why can't the darkness just die? Why can't I just get rid of it? I know it's possible. Why can't I do it? Aren't I supposed to? Aren't I supposed to do this myself...and come out victorious?
If all I have to do is chose, then why can't this world be destroyed?

Do you want a mediocre destiny? Great results come out of long and persistent struggle.
Matt: Some advice.
SNAP OUT OF IT! Did you kill any human lifeform? Did you deny the Godhead's existence after gaining a full and true knowledge? Did you have any form of the marital intimacy designed for use ONLY between a marital couple? I don't believe you have done any of these things Matthew, and I KNOW HE WILL FORGIVE YOU FOR YOUR CRIMES! He loves you much more than you know. You cannot imagine what deep and unchanging love for you He has. Can't you understand, my dear, dear brother!? He LOVES you, and that love cannot be broken, only surpassed, and the three things that can surpass it, I have just mentioned, only one of which is unforgiveable. Matt, you must listen to me, Our Father and Our Brothers love you and they are your SERVANTS! "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." Matthew, chapter 23, verse 11 They are calling your return because they want TO SERVE you, TO AID you, to GIVE you LIFE, TO SOFTEN your STIFFENED NECK and HARDENED HEART. Your remorse is great and terrible, but the joy of your repentance will be righteous and wonderful, come back to Our Brother, He WILL forgive your crimes.
I'm very grateful for your encouraging, enlightening words. The both of you.
Unfortunatly, what you should both realize is that I have done two of the above things. And in some ways, the third.
Preston, your light is strong. Don't lose sight of it. I can feel it shining in your heart.
Okay, Matt, if you murdered somebody, I'll be forced to turn you in to the police, if you've denied Your Knowledge, then your soul isn't salvagable, but you see, if you had done that, you wouldn't be crying for forgiveness repentance, and if you've broken the law of chastity, I might just have to smack you.
Matt, I don't believe it possible that you could have done any of those things. How do you expect me to realize that when it's not even the truth. You wouldn't believe in God, if you had done those things, much less, TWO of those things. Matt, if you've done those things, you wouldn't care about repentance. I know Matt, I've been inches away from physical and spritual suicide, I know the things that happen to one's mind. I are not lost. You haven't annihilated your chance for repentance.
If you can feel my light, then you also have a light, even if, as you claim, it is dim. Matthew if you have a light, you are not lost. Lights will guide you Home to your final and wonderous Home, and ignite your very bones, your core, your center, but I can't fix what is broken, only God can, but He will. You are not lost, Matthew, He is calling you Home, He is your light.
Matt, after all this, you cannot feel the Spirit of God, His priesthood is there to bless you. Turn to the father of your home, then turn to the father of your ward, then you must turn to your Heavenly Father. Those three father have more power residing in their flesh and bone than any other beings that live in the universe. Heavenly Father alone could destroy the armies of Satan with His mighty finger, therefore, He can lead you on the path of righteousness, be not ashamed of the fruit which you pick from the tree of life, like Nephi of old, follow your Father, and partake of the sweetest fruit imaginable.
He came to us.
He loved us that much.
There isn't a soul he's unwilling to touch.
No life so dark, he cannot light.
No sadness, no sorrow, he cannot right.
Come unto him.
He came to earth.
He lived as a man.
There's no earthly care, he can't understand.
No earthly pain he did not feel.
No hunger, no heartache, he cannot heal.
Come unto him.
Come learn of him.
He's meek and humble, and lowly of heart.
Come unto him.
He lived like us, acquainted with grief.
To those who believe, he offers relief.
He opens eyes.
He forgives sin for the humble--the faithful, who follow him.
Come unto him.
Matthew, come unto Him.
I'm siding wiht Preston, Matt. I don't know what else I can say.
the two of them are right. i have not the words of my friends, but my conviction of the truths they have shared is there nonetheless, with just as much power. listen to them. and to those who Love you SO much.
There's nothing more to say. Well, I'm sure there is, but it is beyond my skill with words. Preston put it better than I ever could have.
